The primary objective of D.S.I is to provide competent professional seismic diving services to the oil and gas industry. That objective requires the provision of services which are timely, economical, cooperative, professional, and which meet the technical standards expected by the client. Achievement of this objective is predicated upon the company’s performance in accordance with applicable laws and established standards of practice.

SUMMARY OF SERVICES

D.S.I. provides a full range of seismic dive services in coastal, bay, and inland bodies of water. Our divers proven capabilities range from lightweight SCUBA to deep water hard hat diving using state of the art equipment. This discipline involves Source point recovery, Recording crew support, cable, battery, and box recovery, marine salvage, u/w welding and cutting, u/w color video and 35mm still photography. DSI can provide seismic companies with Water Safety training for their crews and assist the Safety management with accident investigations involving water borne operations.

HISTORY

DSI was founded by, James Shew in 2002.  The company was first used to recover lost heli bags over open water, which lead to the recovery of drill equipment and source points. Since then the company has included marine salvage and underwater GPS and mapping. DSI is also in the process of adding an Environmental Service.

Continuous updating of our operations and training has enabled us to provide our clients with cost effective and innovative solutions to the demands and challenges associated with oil and gas exploration. D.S.I’s history of completing projects on schedule and within budget is the result of professionally trained and highly motivated personal, dedicated to doing it right.
